What are the minimum quantities?
Most of our sock styles have a minimum of 60 pairs per design and colourway. Sorry, while we would really like to offer smaller minimums we can't do this because of the costs of artworking and machine set-ups.

Do you colour match?
For socks made in Australia we don't colour match but we have a large range of pre-dyed yarns. If you send us a PMS colour code or a sample or photo of the colour you would like, we will check our closest yarn match. For Offshore production, and for larger quantities, the factory can dye the yarn to match your PMS colour.

 

Are there any design limitations for knitting?

Knitted designs can't be super intricate or detailed knitted designs because we are limited by the number of stitches in the sock. Also, too much patterning creates too many floats (loose threads) inside the sock and reduces the sock stretch. Designs can use 8 colours total, with 5 colours in the pattern and 3 colours in the sock base, welt, heel & toe.

Can I get a sample to see the quality?
Sure, we can send a sock in the style you are interested in so you can see the quality before placing an order.

 

Do you do samples before bulk production?
Yes we always do a sample prior to bulk production. We send a photo of the sample for approval. If you require a physical sample to approve then we charge a small Australia post fee.

 

What are the lead times?
For local production, the lead times are 4-5 weeks but we can complete sooner if the factory isn't super busy. If the factory has capacity then we can also offer an Express option (2 week production time) for an extra $0.50 per pair.

 

Lead times for overseas custom made socks is approximately 13-14 weeks via sea freight and 4-5 weeks via air freight.

 

What are your socks made of?
Locally, we have cotton and bamboo yarns which we blend with nylon for durability and elastane for stretch. Offshore, we have cotton and bamboo but can also source other fabrications if needed.

What sizes are your socks available in?​​

We use standard Australian sock sizes (as per shoe sizes) and below are the European conversions to help. We can adjust the sock sizing to specific requirements if needed.
